ABOUT THE EVENT: Join us at ABAC's Georgia Museum of Agriculture (GMA) in Tifton, Georgia, for Picnic on the Farm, our Signature Eventure, on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Experience a one-of-a-kind agricultural and culinary adventure - Picnic on the Farm is a "pop-up" picnic event that explores Georgia agriculture throughout our state. Every year we head somewhere different to learn, and this year we are heading to Tifton to celebrate Georgia's agricultural history at the GMA!
At the event, guests will receive a blanket to sit anywhere on the scenic grounds of ABAC's Georgia Museum of Agriculture. VIP guests and sponsors will be escorted to their pre-set picnic area. Guests will enjoy a picnic lunch of traditional Southern cuisine, cocktails, and picnic lounging in the charming surroundings of the museum. Take a step back in time with us!
The purpose of this event is also to educate guests about Georgia's rich agricultural heritage and its importance as the state's number one industry! Discover the history that shaped Georgia's agriculture and gain a deeper appreciation for the farmers and producers who work tirelessly to bring food to our tables. Enjoy a traditional Southern picnic lunch, museum tours, games, and more. Perfect for families, couples, colleagues, college students, or a fun girls' trip.
